INNOQ,IP Receives Specialized Training in Legal Metrology for Pre-measured Packaging with Support from UNIDO

enter site Maputo, April 8, 2025 – Specialized training on legal requirements for pre-packaged goods, a joint initiative between the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the International Organization for Legal Metrology (OIML), began today at the premises of the National Institute for Standardization and Quality (INNOQ,IP) in Zimpeto, Maputo, as part of the PROMOVE Trade project, funded by the European Union.

Valium Online Lasting three days, the course brings together 20 inspectors and technicians from INNOQ,IP’s legal metrology area, including delegates from the provinces of Nampula and Beira, with the aim of strengthening their skills in applying OIML recommendations R79 and R87, relating, respectively, to labeling and the quantity of product in pre-packages. The course is also based on the OIML G21 guide, which guides the creation of certification systems for pre-measured packaging – an important step in ensuring compliance with European Union requirements and improving the competitiveness of Mozambican exports.
