Promove Comércio – Creating Competitiveness for Exports, in line with one of its components, SME’s Upgrading, is present as sponsor of the First Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Conference, which took place in hybrid format (in person and virtually), in Maputo, from 08 to 09 of April.
At the opening of the event which had as its motto “Creating Synergies MSME’s Towards Industrialisation in Mozambique”, the President of the Republic, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, welcomed the support and participation of UNIDO’s senior leadership in the event. “We have to increase the level of exports. MSMEs have a preponderant role in this process, ” said the Head of State in his speech.
UNIDO representative in Mozambique, Jaime Comiche, also participated in a panel discussion where he presented the main interventions to support SMEs under Promove Comercio Project.
